Project Closing
The project Agency in chronic diseases Next Generation Partnership (NGP-Network) was implemented between 2024 and 2026, coordinated by the University of Hamburg, with Ágnes Kuna participating as a researcher.
The closing event of the project took place on April 23–24, 2026. Within an international and interdisciplinary framework, researchers discussed the role of agency and chronic diseases in healthcare contexts, extending beyond Europe to include African and South American perspectives.

Ágnes Kuna together with Thomas Williams, presented the results of their research on Hungarian Long Covid discourse. Over the course of the two-year project, they investigated as linguists how patients and healthcare professionals in Hungary experience and talk about Long Covid (Post-Covid-19 syndrome). The results of the research, which are based on online discourses and semi-structured interviews, will be published in two studies during 2027.
